Quite frankly, the worst pirate news lately has been that I found out they don't talk like pirates anymore. No "Arrr," no "matey" no "avast ye swabbie." Truly, it ought to be required to join the piratical union or something. I'd like to suggest to these modern day pirates that their dialect is one of the most important and unique parts of pirate culture, and to lose that, to assimilate by speaking a standard dialect, well, it hardly seems like pirating, now does it?
